The Scale
One of my students brought me a concept drawing, and asked me to create it in bronze. On one scale plate a business man/developer, weighted down with moneybags, begins handing them over to the construction worker on the other plate.
It was a very complex piece to engineer with its two figures suspended by brass chains, and with all the various parts of the scale and the figures coming together. The actual beam of the scales is immobile.
