little nude

I made this bronze sculpture with only the intention of exploring some degree of abstraction in the nude female form.  The unpremeditated result conveys a little outward movement, embodied in the stretching pose, yet, also an inward feeling, embodied in the self-embrace and in the head turned away.  I see her as a an introspective yet confident young woman.
