Guitar angles

The shape of the piece of limestone that I came across dictated the overall, angular thrust of the guitarist in this sculpture. I composed the smaller shapes to harmonize with the upward and forward moving shape of the original stone. I used pigmented wax to emphasize the dark grooves of tool marks and the inner recesses of the sculpture.  The tool marks add to the sculpture's vibrational energy.
