This bronze, one of my most abstract, is entitled after the starting position in fencing. There is a tension-about-to-be-released feeling and some gracefulness to the forms that help to get an idea of fencing across (at least to me, one who has only watched fencing). This sculpture can also be seen as a dramatic dance pose.
Bronze edition of 12.
13 x 9 x 4 inches.
